My work is about daily modern life and it’s encounter with the heroic and the mythological. Commonplace events have the potential to take on greater significance and become stories. These are an attempt to make sense of emotional responses to important events in our lives. I hope to create relationships between various myths and depictions of daily existence as a way of reflecting on our condition.

I am an artist based in Brooklyn New York, USA. I am the founder and director of the Laundromat gallery in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I am  a visiting professor of 3-D Design at Temple University Japan, in Tokyo.
