I am a painter and printmaker from New Jersey. I studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and have exhibited my work in New York, Boston and Baltimore. I started painting and drawing on wood to lay out designs for woodcuts and realized I preferred the blocks to the prints they produced. I use charcoal, paint, ink, and carving techniques to create the textured surfaces in which I find these figures.
